Very, very nicely done. I'm playing with a keyboard controller and GarageBand and am struggling with this very same song right now, and can appreciate the effort and talent that went into this! What software did you use? I'd work a little on synchronising your singing with the rhythm, it slows down a bit in the later parts.
I could never get why Ilaiyaraaja wasn't more popular up north -- he's a cut above. Check out Sarah Yeh Alam from Shiva, Ram Gopal Varma's latest flop.
hehe ..Raj, Liked the way when you said Latest FLOP :-))..Well most of the ppl dont know abt Ilaiyaraaja as such in North..I was fortunate, as I did my BE in REC Trichy, so I got to listen to many of his classics. :-)
I got the track from Taranaa. If you are interested, you can find many Karaoke tracks on Taranaa.com site.
I use Audacity for recording my voice and post processing which is a free tool. GarageBand is kewl though !

Thanks for the pointer to Taraana. What I'm hoping to do is create the tracks myself, so maybe I can use Taraana as a sort of cheat-sheet.
